Scenario Management Topicality for International Olympic Movement

Abstract

The article considers the prerequisites and major problems connected with the management crisis in the international Olympic movement, analyses the economic results of the Olympic Games organization and suggests the scenarios of holding the structural changes in the system of world sports management. As a methodological tool we use the TAIDA method suggested by Mats Lindgren and Hans Bandhold in their programming work “Scenario planning. A connection between future and strategy”. The topicality of such an investigation is confirmed by the growing scandal information reports connected with the system problems in the world sports.
